I'm not really sure what to say about this, except that I'm surprised I somehow missed it when it was first posted the week before last.
Google Executive Chairman and big shot Eric Schmidt apparently had some free time on his hands and decided to post a very basic guide to switching from the iPhone to Android on Google+—just in time for the holiday season!
Why the executive Googler would want to do so is unclear. The guide is honestly kind of bizarre, and it's peppered with what are clearly biased observations including, "Like the people who moved from PCs to Macs and never switched back, you will switch from iPhone to Android and never switch back," and "Be sure to use Chrome, not Safari; its [sic] safer and better in so many ways. And it’s free." (Nevermind that Apple's Safari browser isn't available for Android, and Chrome is not even the default Android browser at this point…) Then there's the fact that Schmidt is (or was) a longtime BlackBerry user.
